I've spent my career building software.A lot of it already existed before I got there.

I'm David Southwood, a senior software engineer with more than 13 years of professional experience building, maintaining, and modernizing business applications.

I've worked across React, TypeScript, Vue, Angular, C#/.NET, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, real-time systems, and complex operational software. The part I enjoy most is understanding how a system actually works and finding a practical way to make it better.
